1200 GSX Snow Flao

The snow flap on my 1200 gets under the track when I back it off the trailer, or back up in deep snow.
Was thinking of drilling a hole at the bottom center and using a short bungy cord to tie it up to the rear bumper.
Any other ideas?

Yep lots of brackets out there made to keep flap out of harms way.

i screwed 2 6" pcs of old slide material to the underside of the flap.....keeps it stiff....no problems since

I cut an old drive belt in half, looped it over the lift handle and screwed it to the flap with #10 screws to hold it in place.

I thought they were made to bend outward and then back to normal? Maybe its just newer ones, not sure.

I used some nylon webbing off a canvas duffel bag and put over the bumper and a small bolt to the flap.

When backing out of the trailer do not sit on the sled. Walk it out and it will not catch.

Or you could just buy this one already done!!!!! You can see what I did on this to solve the problem.
