I have 2010 Ranger Reata with 150 Evinrude Etec that keeps throwing temperature alarms. Just cruising along & wham loud alarm & temp light goes on so I pull back throttle both audio alarm & light goes on engine runs fine. I have been checking water pressure meter & plenty of water moving thru the engine. Engine is tilted all the way down & no weeds on the water intakes so power back up & can run maybe 20 minutes at 25-35 mph & happens again other times does not happen for days but today 2x in a few minutes. Anybody have any ideas what to look at or even where to start looking to fix this??
