1980 enticer no spark all of a sudden

My son was riding his 80 enticer 300 today in deep powder and stalled the motor. Now it will not start, changed plugs and still no spark. The sled is in the field so any help would be great. The sled normally starts up great and runs great. Could the deep powder have caused an issue with the electrical system? Sled has a tether, kill switch is taken out of the equation. Thanks for the help!

I had this same problem with a 86 bravo 250. In my case it was the ignition coil under the fly wheel. Part cost something like $13. will be tough to fix in the field since you need to solder the new coil in. The test is to check the resistance across the coil.
