Im looking for a rebuild kit for this "classic"... Checked flea-bay, denn kirk, vintage sleds, & a couple others. Anyone got any other ideas?

Mikuni, not sure on size, no #'s on this at all. The float bowl is held on by 1 3/8's bolt, pilot & air mix screws are on top of unit.

All you would ever need for that carb is a needle & seat and jets. Nothing else, like all Mikuni carbs, ever seems to go bad.

It shares these same parts with other Mikuni carbs. If you need a needle & seat you measure it and I can tell you which one you need. Jetting is simple also.

That should be a B34-32 mikuni carb -3 for fan and -5 for free air. Not much to them, not really a kit to re-build them either, but most individual parts are available throught he dealer or on-line parts suppliers.

yeah I just picked up this sled for my 7 yr old daughter, for a $100.00. It would not take fuel thru the carb, but it would run with gas in a spray bottle. So I pulled the carb on it & everything is shot, floats, needle & seat, pilot is all "banged up", gasket on top is shot & so is the seal on float bowl, even the "pin" that the float rides on is bent. Is the seat pressed in there? Appears to be brass inside of aluminum.

That age sled shoud have some parted out sleds at sled
shops check for a carb if yours has been that badly abused.
Just thinnen.

Another idea... get a round slide mikuni from a newer model 340 jag, change the throttle cable and your done. You can tweak the carb and change jetting if needed, and parts are available. You would need a VM 32 carb, 300 main and 25 pilot, and a flange adapter to fit the 32mm carb. A universal mikuni throttle cable.

carb p/n VM32-S $104
throttle cable p/n 932 $12
mounting flange $10-$17 depending on brand and mounting holes
choke cable p/n 938 $12

all prices retail and part # from parts unlimited

34 should work, you will have to play with the jetting, the 340's from the late 90's used a 34mm carb. little richer on the pilot, not likely the 7 yr old will be getting into the main jet for any WOT runs for a while.
