1987 Ski Doo Safari 377 Bogging Down

My 87 ski doo safari 377 bogs down when run at wide open throttle. It's ok at 1/2 or 3/4 throttle but acts like its fouling plugs at wide open throttle. If I let it sit for a while it idles and runs great until I run it wide open for about a1/2 mile and then starts to bog, cough, spit, sputter and dies.

I checked the plugs and they look great (light cardboard or caramel color) but I changed them anyway. The sled only has a primer and no choke. I thought the primer may be bad and the engine siphoning gas through the primer so I pinched it off with a forceps. I also dropped the needle one notch thinking that the needle was letting to much gas through.

I haven't cleaned the carburetor yet but I'm starting to think that the float might be sticking.

Thoughts? Is there anything else I'm missing?

Thanks,
Skutr

At idle spray some wd40 around the crankcase seals to rule them out ... A bad shifting clutch will act the same ...

air box or exhaust clogged? also make sure exhaust outlet pipe is thru the pan and not bent partially closed from an impact with something like a rock

10:1 it's the crank seals. use starting fluid instead of wd-40. You still might not hear a rev, at a higher load a weak seal will pull more air- hard to duplicate that in the garage.
