Been in my garage for many years and now I'm thinking I would like to rip around at 34 mph. Would this be any 6 volt battery ??? I will suck old oil / gas out but not sure of new oil (injection) ? I used to use Y 16 or Y3 something ? Yamaha brand.

It might have been a little longer than 5 years...haha.... first off it's a 12 volt battery.. and it was probably the YB16CL-B is the number of the battery.... and the oils just regular 2-cycle oil make sure you use premium gas...

Chords just an FYI... I have two 96 jet skis and one 97 and all I've ever used is the 2-cycle cat oil that I run in my 99 zrs and all old sleds a modern jet ski I would worry about it but these old dogs are oil was oil as long as you have oil in them

I think it was a Yamaha brand oil

Well yeah since that's what you got... and listen now that you're saying these kind of things I wouldn't recommend riding that without other jet skiers being around to save you haha

Hey on a side note a bunch of us are doing a river in the u p a tour I do tours on the Tippecanoe River down here and they have tours on the Mississippi I want to do that one but there's a bunch of us this summer coming up Way North and I mean way up and we're going up a cool shallowish Rapidish and sometimes tranquil River in a remote area if you'd like to try that

Hey there's one other thing the laws have changed and you got to have a whistle now attached to your wrist or an air horn on board one of them ones like at the football game and a fire extinguisher to go out onto Lake Michigan I believe it says any large body of water I'm not sure about that I know it's all the Great Lakes now because that one guy drifted away from Chicago over to Saint Joseph and died
