A buddy told me that the Lazy Ace and Beaver Lodge is for sale, so I had to see it for myself, I hope they get sold to new owners and they stay open, I also hope this wasn't caused by the rona. Cant beat the cherry rubbed wings at the Lazy Ace, and Im pretty sure that the Beaver Lodge is the quietest place to sleep in on a foggy morning, hahahaha

Ace has an accepted offer, not sure when the closing is. I am so happy for them! Both are just awesome folks who worked their butts off to build that business. Awesome food and people. I wish them the best for their future, and the new folks who purchased it.

Are you talking Beaver Lodge in Mercer area? I can remember going to that place when it was a fancy place to eat like a supper club, haven't been there for YEARS. Last time I was there it was more like a TGI Fridays out in the middle of the woods and that was even many years ago, either way always looked forward to going there if that is the place.

Yes the Beaver in Mercer, both of these places are in Mercer, and Katden4 I couldnt agree more, the owners of the Lazy Ace are always busting their butts, seems I should have a tried a little harder to get that cherry rub recipe over the last few years.

Both places have always been great, when open. Over the last couple years when I rode by, they never seemed to be open.
Had to pass and go to Ye Olde Shillelagh, or Heart of the North.
No Great Northern for me....
