Has anybody found a brand of tire that lasts? It seems I have to throw them away after 2 years. I have been looking at some 10 plys on ebay. No radials to be found. Also interested in the aluminum wheels and if anyone has any and how they like them? Do you need longer studs with the aluminum wheels?

Why are you haveing to throw them out? Are they getting unusual wear to the tire?
I was getting alot of wear on the outsides of each tire. I got tired of throwing them out and finally took the trailer to a place that works on semi's and trailers, and they bent my axle so the tires would ride in the center. The guy told me that alot of these axle's come from the factory out of whack. Never thought they would come like that from the factory.

You shouldn't be going through tires that quickly. Either the tires are over or under inflated or the ankle is bent!

After I had my axle bent, I've had no more wear on the tires.

I put 4 of the following tires on my V-nose exclosed Expedition trailer several years ago, after getting tired of dealing with continuously rusting wheels. They have held up to UP winters flawlessly.

I did NOT need longer stud on the hubs. I also purchased a set of stainless steel lug nuts from McGard.
