2000 800 summit

I came across a 800 summit 2000 with the hood up an it was spewing smoke due to over heating issue. I stopped to take a look at it and notice that the pipe was right up against the antifreeze resivoir. The resivoir was rapped with heat shield material and also one of the cooling lines was also touching the pipe. now my guess is that the pipe wore thru the heat shield and burned through the resivoir and or burned through the cooling line. My question is, is this stock setup or did he put an after market pipe in this sled. I can not believe that doo would have designed the pipe to come in contact with the resivoir and a cooling line. I do not ride doo's so i have no idea.

Thanks doo_dr That is what i thought. looks like you have atleast an inch of clearance between the resivoir and the pipe. Your pipe does look different. and no heat shield around the resivoir.
