2001 phaser ?

i am looking at a 2001 phaser for my son the guy who has it says its a 2001 but looking at the photos it has the metal skis i always thought they put plastic on the o1 where would i look on the sled to find the year also are these sleds pretty reliable its the 500 fan has around 4500 miles on it any issues i should know about

I have a 1999 phazer in our stable . I bought it brand new its been a great sled I wish my Polaris rmks were as bullrt proof as this sled it has metal skis

Have a 1999 Phazer that my sons rides. Friend bought it new & I got it in 2006. Has been a great sled with no problems. Just turned 3000 miles with lots of life left in it. Yes metal ski's also.

Bought a 2000 for my wife a few years back. She loves it. Runs like a top. We have about 5000 on it no issues. Had metal skis I put plastic ones on it this last summer. Only complaint when it is cold out and the sled has not been run for a while it pulls very hard. Always starts in the first 3 pulls though.
