Last year at the end of season my head lights stop working my mech. replaced the regulator with another after market type and they worked for a while before storage. Now this first ride of the season my head light bulbs keep burning out seconds after installing new ones! Also my hand warmers get much hotter than before and need to be shut off after a few minutes. Can you offer any suggestions to this problem? Maybe the regulator is putting out to much voltage than the OEM regulator and is causing this problem.

Probably bad regulator but check that the ground is clean and that the plug is clean and tight. If you buy another one buy OEM this time.
