I have a 2002 Polaris Magnum 500, when riding for 1-2 minutes the headlights and taillights start flashing on and off. I have check for loose wires found none. Could it be the light switch, key switch, or regulator. Any help please.
Thanks Joe
I have had quite a few of these in the shop and it usually ends up being a corroded circuit breaker. there are usually two of them they are enclosed in rubber under the front radiator panel near the wiring junction block.. after running the lights for a few minutes, feel to see which one is hot......trim back the rubber with a knife and replace the circuit breaker and corroded terminal ends. an automotive one from the auto parts will work and i like to use the type with the nuts instead of the spade type. this will require you to change the terminal end but usually they are corroded and need changing anyway
