Had my light come on the other night, it did not come on until 17 miles into my ride. At first the light came on and stayed on, I dipped the sled into the deeper snow and the light would go off, on my return trip the light started to flash three times and then stay on, it did this for awhile and dipping the sled into the deep snow would no longer help, then it started to flash a series of eight times and stay on for a bit and then continue to flash eight times and so on.

I understand that it was flashing a code, my question would be, is it the thermostat or thermosensor?

I have never had a overheating problem with this sled. Owned since new.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

A shame on me I did not check the coolant level before I left, again I have never had a problem with coolant or overheating......my defense, my girlfriend wanted to ride for our date night! Come on guys how often does that happen, to get lucky twice in one night! :)
