2002 zr 800 cat problem

Bud has this sled, says @ 7000 rpm's power is dropping like loosing a cyl. It comes on with a bog then the r's drop & back to normal with a pop or two. I'm thinking either injector or ex valves. Clutch checks out, nothing broke or worn. Also when warmed up sled will not start unless you hold her WOT. Ezra what u think? Corleone, I'm trying.

Disconnect the 3 wire plug from the handlebar by the steering post I believe the wires are purple, black with white strip and a brown and see if it does it still. And if that fixes it cut the black and white wire plug it back in so your kill switch works again. The tss is a big problem on these sleds.
