2003 Polaris 550 Classic cutting out.

I have a 2003 Polaris 550 classic, with about 3500 miles.

After running an undetiremined amount of time ussually less than 15 min. The right cylinder cuts out.

I have had the carbs cleaned several time, replaced both coils, same out come. My mechanic thinks maybe the CDI box is the problem.

I there anyway to test the CDI box?

Or do any of you have any other suggestions.

There isn't really a way to test a CDI as far as I know. Had an Indy 500 that would cut out after running 10-15 minutes. I thought it was an electrical issue and turned out fuel pump. The rebuild kit was only around $7 and ran great after. Just a thought as seems a similar situation but I didn't have one cylinder that seemed to die out more of a overall bad bog. Didn't do it cold.

Thanks for the reply, I have an other CDI box coming next week. Will see what happens.

We just had the same thing on our 600 classic. It was the spark plug wire.
