Would like to wire 12V plug for heated visor and I'm just wondering if there is already a connector I can use, if so where is located and is there adaptor made by Polaris to plug into it. Thanks. .

On my 06 Fusion there are some open 2 prong plugs under the hood, near handle bars shaft, along the 'firewall'. Just took a test light, started the sled & checked for power. Have heard if you have electric start, you do have some AC/DC concerns to deal with. But mine was that easy.

Napa has a 2 prong conncetor similar to a trail plug that can be trimmed slightly and will plug right in it the wires under near the hood near the bars just like Soxfan stated easy as pie to install.

Going from memory...but wife had an 05 XC500 that I wired for a plug. There was connector wrapped up from the factory that if you had their adaptor it was plug and play. I cut the end off and spliced into that. I would use a meter with engine running to confirm. Otherwise, you can get into the tail light circuit behind the lower left foot well.

Yes, I bought the 2 prong plug at an auto parts store. Looks like a 4 flat trailer plug, but with 2 prongs. Just soldered the shield wires to the plug wires & plug it into sled socket. Can be easily removed to put on different sled if you need to.
