Does anyone know if they make an after market front bumper for the rmk that i dont have to remove the radiator to put on?

I'm pretty sure they don't. But the do make a radiator elimination kit. I had an 06 Fusion and that dumb radiator never helped my sled. Always over heated. The only way it wouldn't, was if I had scratchers down. Get rid of it while you are changing the bumper.

i kind of want to leave the radiator on just for when i have to rip down the trail but then again i want to remove it so i can get a bumper without having to make my own

Glad to hear from you, Shed the radiator and add slide kicks "scratchers". Save the old bumper for me!! You know the way I ride I may need one sooner than later especially when cuzzinolaf is along.

These bumpers are extremely wimpy, and break very easily, so be forewarned.

Head over to the FST site on www.polarisfiles.com and do a search over there for the IQ front bumper. Some fellow made them with some good solid connections and had a few left earlier this summer. He was NOT going to make any more of them, so he was clearing his garage of several he made up at the same time.

I tore out the radiator on mine too, and haven't missed it yet. I also put some support strapping to beef up my bumper...it really needed a better design from polaris....but anymore it is out the door!

i think i am going to just scrap the radiator but for some reason something in my brain keeps telling me to keep it and it is annoying the heck out of me. how much does your temp change when you get rid of the radiator.

i will check out that site thanks for telling me about it. I just have to make up my mind on what i want to do to it.

The temp actually goes down. My sled runs around 124 degrees on the exhaust temp gauge. It is a lengthy explanation why. Next JD ride in I will get with you to explain why. Also add the SLP can. The suit case that comes with the sled weighs at least 35-40 pounds. Snowest.com has a section on your sled specifically. Remember, when you bury that sled in the deep....... Bring friends, it weighs a ton.
