you can get anything to crank by jumping the soleniod... you also need to power up the ignition system...could be a bunch of things, from the ign. switch, to just a fuse or a unplugged connector, a kill switch...you need to turn the ign. switch on and see if you have power there...comming in from battery, and with key on- leaving the switch...check the fuses with a test light or meter, sometimes they look good but are blown, this is just a start- if it won't crank by pushing the starter button, sounds like a fuse or something's unplugged or even corroided...are all the wires hooked up to the battery??

Battery can also be a problem. Try fully charging it. ATV batteries see infrequent and short term use which can result in the battery never getting fully charged and eventually failing.

Make sure the battery is 100% first!

same problem

I have an 03 that drove me nuts! I can almost guarantee that it is a voltage regulator wire that corroded off. It is mounted up front behind the front bumper and grille area. get on your knees and get a flashlight up in there and you will find it. Mine was the red wire that corroded off. If this is the problem? send me a pm as I have an extra I purchased on ebay. Might give you a good deal on it
