2005 Ski Doo MXZ stop button not working

Anyone ever had this issue? My kill switch isn't working on my 05 MXZ. What could be the cause? It's not a huge deal, but I wouldn't mind fixing it. Thanks for any advice!

The contacts are dirty in the switch, either replace the whole switch or I think I remember taking one apart and file down the contacts and add dielectric grease I think the switch assy, is only like $35 but you may not be able to get the grip off without damaging it and the grips are around $45, I just installed a new one on my buddies, pain in the butt

Great...Thanks for the advice! Not something I am going to mess with a week before a trip AND add another $100 to the cost.

had an 06 that had the same issue. replaced the switch and all good.
