2005 skidoo Renegade tail light & sway bar questions

Has anyone removed their tail light assembly/rack and put in just an led light bar? I'm looking at doing this to open up the back end of my skid but can't find any light to use. I'm assuming with the minimal draw of the led lights that a resistor isn't needed? I'm not too electrical savvy but should be able to put this together.

Also, has anyone removed their sway bar on their sled? I do a lot of off trail riding and am toying with the idea of just getting it out of there. I like the idea of having a true independent front suspension. Pros/Cons?

Usually the only reason to unhook the Torsion Bar would be for Side hilling out west. Just unhook one side and try it, then it will be easier to hook back up.

Why would you unhook a perfectly good Tail Light and replace it with something that might be illegal?
