I took out my front shocks for a rebuild and noticed that where the upper mount of the shock attaches to the weld cross member, this has bent causing the plastic above it to crack and displace a 1/4" higher. It appears that the angle of the cross member has been opened slightly although not cracked. This has in turn resulted in the exhaust pipe rubbing on the hood. The sled has 8K hard miles. Should I just look at replacing the part or has anyone had any success repairing, etc. Has anyone else seen this same type of damage. The part is $106.
