I just bought a 2006 Polaris FST Classic. After I got it home and started my maintenance, I realized I had no idea where to store the spare belt. Am I missing something, or is there no place to carry one easily?

I had one for 13,000 miles and I put mine in the seat storage compartment. Some guys would put them in the belly pan.

I had same problem. I bought a set of saddle bags.

That is what I thought and also bought a set. I was just wondering if I missed something. Thanks.

Trust me, I had one for 6 years and 13,000 miles, they fit in there. You have to bend it a little but it fits no problem and I also had a tool kit and tow rope in there. I kept an old belt for a spare. Do you have the SLP vents to help cool the clutches etc? You will find they are a must. I was blowing a belt every 1,000 miles from excessive heat and once I installed the vents, I could get over 2,000 miles easily. The turbo gets red hot and there is tons of heat under the hood. You will never have ice in your footwells and your feet will always be warm. :)
