2007 f1000 sway bar question

getting sleds ready and i noticed the sway bar bushings where bar engages ski leg were very sloppy thought at first were excessively worn, i could also notice some rattling in front last year and am pretty sure this is the problem, on further inspection i found sleeves on the sway bar approximately 3 to 4 inches long that should be at end of sway bar slid up the sway mar and out of bushings. took a 5/8" open end wrench and plastic mallet and tapped sleeves down and back in place and that took up all of the looseness in the sway bar bushings. Question is has anyone else noticed this and is there anything that anyone has done to prevent this from happening? i thought of maybe putting a few wraps of like scotch 33 tape ahead of them to prevent them from moving but was just curious what other people have maybe done to remedy this.

Good tape wrap with zip ties to hold tape even better.
Did that sled get the updated sway bar setup. They did update that assembly for the 08 year and beyond.

Thanks Favoritos! I will check into that, I had went to my local dealer and nothing was mentioned about the sway bar update, I appreciate the response, was hoping someone had encountered this and had a fix, I will check into what it takes to update sway bar. Thanks again!
