2007 F6 tunnel protectors

So I'm helping out my buddy put some studs in his sled. The need for tunnel protectors isn't obvious but I'm sure the smart thing to do. The local dealer was not much help in terms of advice. I'm not a Cat guy so not sure what the best thing to do is. Should we just rivet a couple plastic rails to the top of the tunnel for this sled? Not nearly as straight forward and obvious like a Doo. Thanks for any help.

If it is a 2007, it does not need protectors added to the tunnel. The cooling rails are over the track windows and serve the added feature of being the tunnel protectors.

Agree... I have a 07 F6 it had 144 in it for years, no problems. Still have it now with an iceripper, sled has over 9k on it. It took a beating.... the cooling rails are pretty robust.
