When going to take off from Idle or punch it at low RPM, sled bogs done, If I flutter the throttle it usually comes out of it, and runs fine. This does not happen all the time. Only very intermittently.

Thanks

It could just be your Throttle safety system (TSS) You can normally bypass it for testing just by unplugging the connector that comes from the Throttle assy on the handlebars. if your problem goes away, then the problem is with your TSS and could be the switch in the throttle assy, too loose or too tight throttle cable, or some sort of grounding issue.

Id that test does not fix the issue, the problem could be a number of other things such as the Throttle position sensor, a clutch issue, or a spark issue such as a bad wire or plug cap.

Thanks for the response.

I know the cable is looser than a friend of mines 2008 f5.

Is there a way to adjust the cable?

Thankls

Sounds like the tiny throttle switch is gummed up. There is a tiny sliding pin in the throttle that needs to be cleaned up and slightly oiled. If it lags in movement, this will do what you describe. Take it apart and clean it up.

Also would try to run a bit of sea foam or other agent thru the sled in one tank and see if that improves it. Won't hurt it but could improve performance.

Thanks for the reply.

I run Sea foam on a regular basis in all my 2 stroke engine. Great stuff.

I will check into the switch as you mentioned.
