2008 Ski Doo MXZ XP Chassis Advice

Recently purchased a 2008 MXZ 600 and coming from the ZX chassis to the XP chassis, I am finding it to be difficult to access the under side of the instrument panel (and most everything else). Not sure what happened but today I pressed the "S" select switch and then it didn't work again. I am assuming that under the rubber is some kind of push button switch that is either broken or dirty or ???. What options do I have here? I see that there are four screws that may take the windshield, headlights and dash off. Is that where I start? Is there a shop manual out for these? Any help/advice would be great, thanks.

The whole Gauge unit pops out. If you need a new one your Dealer will have to change it. I think it has to be hooked up to the BRP Computer to change the Gauges if they are bad. Most of the Gas Gauges on the 08 Sleds never worked either. Otherwise put 2 small Screwdrivers in the slots on the top of the Gauges and the unit pops out, both Gauges come out together.
