2008 yamaha nytro MTX wont start.

A friend of mine has the sled listed above. anyways it will not start. we have checked all connections and everything is fine. Battery tested good. we had to remove the motor from this due to a broken valve. We are wondering if we could have the ground wire hooked in the wrong spot? No one really remembers where it was unhooked from. We are also getting an engine code 22. If anyone could help us that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Code 22 on the Nytro is "Intake Air Temp Sensor Open or Short Circuit" troubleshooting calls for 1) Check connections on Intake air temp sensor coupler or wire harness ECU coupler.(Check the couplers for any pins that may have pulled out) 2) Open or short circuit in wire harness. Between the intake air temp sensor coupler and ECU coupler. Black/Blue-Black/Blue and Brown/White-Brown/White. 3) Defective intake air temp sensor
