2009 Arctic cat clutch Problem?

I have a 2009 Arctic cat TZ-1 turbo touring. It only has 2000 miles on it. I blew a belt to threads and put a spare one on to get me home. I now put a new one on and all it does is squeel like a pig and is loud as ****. It actually seems to snub the motor when I try to move forward or backward. Could it be that there is belt threads wrapped in the clutch or look for something else? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Was the replacement an Arctic cat belt or aftermarket? If arctic cat adjust your belt ride height lower in secondary to loosen(look in manuel). If aftermarket belt make-up probably is softer compound, now You'll probably have to change entire clutch set-up(weights,springs), because you won't be able to pull proper rpm.
