Anyone out there do some mods so the prefilter doesn't slush up and bog the motor in deep powder? If so, what did you do? More access for air into the airbox? If so where? Any help is appreciated. Taking another trip out west and need to get this issue resolved. Want to spend money once and get it right the first time.

X2 and there are others on the market,you can also by the material and make your own.It stops the snow and moisture from getting in the foam filter and freezing.Do a goggle search on ski doo pre filter and it should give ya some more imfo and options.I believe Dennis Kirk has some also_Or check some mountain forums.I also know if you go to the DOOTalk forums and click on sponsors there are some there.
