I bought a 2010 800 IQ in december, ran great until the engine blew at 600 miles. The dealer found an inch of H2O in the fuel tank and told me to check with my fuel supplier, who assured me his tanks are clean, he blamed the problem on the cooling rods running under the fuel tank causing condensation in the fuel tank. When I read the Polaris owners manual tech update add-on paper that recommends to ALWAYS use isopropyl de-icer @1oz/gal,it all made sense. Those cooling rods are always warming up the fuel in the tank above, creating condensation every time, worse on very cold days. The dealer had told me to add the de-icer "once in a while" when I bought it, not good enough, has to be "always".Fixed the motor on warranty, and loaned me a new 600IQ during the repairs,so no complaint there.Love everything about this sled. Fingers crossed...
