Hey Everybody,
Need a little help here. I had 2010 600 IQ Tour with 1996 miles on it. It always ran like a Swiss watch, never skipped a beat, , , until I sold it Friday night.
The new owner called me and said he went for a ride this morning. The sled ran really nice but on a couple occasions the engine sputtered and the dash display went out. Seemed to last a couple seconds and then everything seemed to be ok. There was no check engine light or anything.
Before storing last spring I sucked out all remaining fuel and put in about 4 gallons of fresh 91 non-oxy treated with stabilizer. Ran the engine for a few minutes and shut it down. I always put a few ounces of fogging oil down the cylinders before storing as well.
Since then, the sled has just been idled, moved in and out of the trailer a few times and that was about it.
Could this be a case of maybe a little moisture in the fuel? Maybe an oil fouled plug?
Any input on this would be greatly appreciated as I want to help out the new owner as much as possible and get this resolved. Worst case I'd offer to buy it back.
