So we are trying to figure out why our 2011 Pro R 800 is bogging so much. It is very faithful in that it does it at about 7000 rpm evertime. You can feather it out sometimes but it will fall right back into a bog. Up to 7000 RPM it runs just great but right near the power band it will cut right out.
We have remapped it twice in the last few years but it hasnt changed anything. I heard one rumor about it possibly being something to do with the throttle body? We have not tried changing that out yet.
Luckily this is a spare sled that we just use when we have out of town friends come in but we still dont want it running like this if we can help it.
It has been doing this since it was new but we think the bog has gotten a little worse.
Do any of you have any suggestions or input on what could be causing this?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
