2012 Ski Doo TNT Carb Idles high when warmed up

I have an awesome 2012 Ski Doo TNT carbed and when it is warm idles about at 3500 rpms. This also happened to my 600 XCSP and all I would do is choke it 1/2 way and it would idle down. Any ideas on what I should do to calm the idle down??

Thanks Merry Christmas!!

Just a guess but if the jets are narrowed by varnish, the sled will run lean and that could cause the sled to run at much higher RPM. Did you summerize it well last spring? Drain the carbs or left them go? Try pulling the carbs and cleaning them with a good carb cleaner. At least drain them, and run some sea foam thru there on the next tank of gas...maybe get lucky.

Almost every carbed Ski-Doo has too small of a pilot jet in order to meet emission standards.

Lean idle usually = high idle.

Tell me which TNT you have have and I'll let you know if we have done one and what we did to fix it.

Did skidoo ever fix the problem with the cracking carb boots? I had a 2007 model that did this because of the boots.

As mentioned, probably a lean condition. Many people clean carbs every other year. Some never. I have dealer clean carbs on our carb sleds every year. Cheap insurance. Cracked boots seem to be every few years too.

Your sled will blow up at some point if lean enough. Just FYI.
