While not bad, I get some darting on my skis in tight snow. Anyone tried dually carbides or SLT skis? I've had luck with both on past sleds.

shim your STOCK skis & darting will stop and save some $$$$$

I am starting to wonder if I shimmed mine properly. I went with the 6" triple points + ski savers + shims a few years back on my 06 Fusion, and the steering did ease up but still not to the extent that my buddy's 07 IQ 600 is stock. Reading the links above, it sounds like I shouldn't have ended up with a little more improvement on the effort. I will say my Fusion does not push at all, holds a corner like it's on rails, and never darts, and it's done this for 4,000+ miles on the triple points and they still look great.

I bought some newer spindles for mine, and when I get around to installing them (probably be a couple months), I'll going to look over my set up carefully and see if I have it set up right.
