Got an issue with the e start on my wife's sled. Moved it out of the trAiler about 2 weeks ago and it turned over weak so I pull started it. Ran fine and put it in the shed. About 2 weeks ago went to look at charging battery. Battery was at 12.2 volts, when running it was showing 14.4 volts so I know it was charging. Disconnected battery and hooked up battery charger. Charged all night and it showed 12.8 volts in morning. Hooked battery back up and got nothing. Wouldn't even make a sound like it was trying to turn over. So I went to look at it tonight again and battery is at 12.25 v and nothing. When I pull start the sled now Nd check the battery it still only shows 12.25 v. everything works fine, handwarmers, lights etc. but it's not charging. Any ideas? Still under warranty but I'd just as soon fix it myself. Thanks!

Hook up a volt meter to the battery and than try the E-start. if it drops more than a couple volts, the battery is bad. Checking under load is the turn test.

I tried that last night and I get nothing. It doesn't even turn slow, it does nothing at all. Is there a relay/fuse that could have gone bad? Shows no difference on the voltmeter when I turn the key. Even put on the battery charger and turned it to starting charge and got nothing.

yes, there is a circuit breaker/fuse near the battery compartment on the foot rest side.
I had that same thing happen. I replaced both breaker and solenoid and that solved the issue
You can run a jumper wire between the positive side of the solenoid and the positive terminal of the battery.
It will make the starter spin. That would indicate the above solution.

Got it fixed. My wife's mechanic (me) is an idiot and didn't notice when I took the battery out to charge it that I failed to reconnect a wire. All good now!

Hate it when that happens!

Let me know when the snow is good up there Troy, I'm ready for a run!
