2014 ski doo voltage issue.

my 12 volt outlet in the glove box and the visor plugs are putting out 16-18 volts. It is "blowing" the charger plugs when I try to plug in the phone. I have ruined 2 phone charger plugs before I tested the output. What should it put out for voltage?

Sounds like a voltage regulator problem, not for sure but if it is bad could let it over charge. I have a 13 gade etec 600 and had about 14.8 volts at idle. That was just checked about 3 weeks ago with volt meter, I was having a battery problem with a 2010 etec 600 so I checked my 13 that is what I got. Don't know what skidoo calls normal but that's what I got.
