It's that time of year again!
A week from Friday we will be kicking off The JD Make-A-Wish Pre-party at the Bug bar!
Shellie the New owner of the Mosquito will be hosting!
I will be DJ'ing with good music and Karaoke Starting at 6PM!
John will be there singing"If he has a designated driver"
There will be raffles all night for shirts,hats and whatever
You can ride your sleds or drive your car or take a cab to and from the Houghton/Handcock areas!
I believe there will be Jello shots and other specials!
You can also buy chances to win the classic Polaris! "I have seen this machine and the restoration is VERY impressive!"
This party is always a ton of fun leading up the the Main event banquet and silent auction on Saturday!
It's always awesome to meet and mingle with folks for such a great cause!
Here's a shoutout........
Who's coming this year? It's the last one!
Let's go out with a bang and help out a local family!

ScottiKing does an amazing job and this is a SUPER AWESOME FUN KICKOFF time!
Every Year it is a hoot and the Bug Bar is the perfect place to have it at!
I wish I could be there this year my friend,... and take part in our annual ZZ Top
Sing-A-Long! :)
I have returned to work from the Big Hip Replacement,... and looks like I will be
"Making the Rounds at the Big House" that weekend :(
So Have a couple for me,... and Sing your hearts out!
and spend a lot of MONEY!!!!!
I'll be there in Spirit!

If you have any doubt that this is a good time, just look at the photos from previous years. No question, this one will be the best ever!

Should be enough liquid courage available to get even a meteorologist to loosen up a little (for example).

Tightens up the "vocal chords" and makes him sing like a bird!
just ask ScottyKing! (Skylar will vouch for me also!) :)

oh,... and don't forget to bring those extra pallets
to stack up for Skylar's barstool,... so he can "SEE"
OVER all those folks in front of him,... don't want him

Sitting at the bug bar right next now and the first singer hit it out of the park! John was impressed!! Gave him a big hug and high five.

Well I've made it back to the motel, had a great night, probably still going on for some. There are a few others that wish it was going on for them but I'm not going to call them out :) but they know what I mean JIM! Winner take home part of the 50/50 was $500, but they donated it all back so $1,000 was raised from that. There was a lot from the other raffles too. The place was packed from 6:00 on, so I bet they raised a lot of cash tonight. Should continue to be fun tomorrow. Sled raffle tickets are going fast at all the sites too. M&M has had to get 2 refills from what Chad says. Tomorrow night should be great. If you're in the area stop by even if you don't have tickets, you can still bid on silent auction stuff. There are a lot of good things to be had!

I'm home safe and sound. Thanks to my bro for being the designated driver and not falling prey to the cougar!

It was a great time and looking forward to tomorrow's festivities!

Tons of fun!
I think I'm getting old! sitting here typing this my eyes lids are struggling to stay open 10 percent at 3:30 in the afternoon!
Got trained to groom by Richard Krupp till 2AM Thursday, got home from the Bug gig at 2:48am Saturday and last night after the ride-in and a stop at the Bug on the way back to the shack it was 2AM and then the 6 hour drive home and haul all my DJ gear downstairs into the AV room here in St Paul, and boondocked 3 days in a row!
Ya stick a fork in me!
I would like to thank Shelie and her staff for all their hard work Friday night!
It's was a ZOO in there and EVERYONE seemed to have a great time and everyone I looked at had a smile on their face!
We raised a ton of dough for a great cause!
And also would like to thank John,John,Lori and all the folks that work so hard to make Saturday nights main event an AWESOME time as usual!
I feel SO lucky to be able to be associated with BIG group of BIG HEARTED folks!
John If you ever decide to do something like this ever again!

COUNT ME IN!!!!!!!
