Sounds pretty good. 1800 miles in UP got it from Timberlines. Anyone on here order one of these?

http://www.snowtechmagazine.com/2015-ski-doo-renegade-xrs-800r-e-tec-first-test/

"What makes this sled so special is how this is the first time we could get an XRS chassis and suspension package in the 137” Renegade track length. The XRS version of the Renegade is more than impressive, it is DOMINANT. This is the most dominating sled we have ever ridden. From the suspension package and its adjustability from compliant to capable, to the unmatched capability of the rMotion rear suspension, to the traction and acceleration of the 800R E-TEC and the 1.5” Ripsaw track, this sleds hooks up and launches hard. The suspensions swallow the terrain with ease and give you the confidence that you are riding the best there is, and that this machine has just raised the bar, yet again. Being an XRS one might think the sled is going to be calibrated very firm or stiff, but that is the beauty of the shock package. You can dial it down to work much like a TNT or Adrenaline package, or dial it up to an X-package or further to the full-on XRS calibration. The range of adjustability is amazing!"

"After riding all of the new sleds for 2015, there are many good rides out there, but only one has the complete and total performance package of ride AND handling, and only Ski-Doo has PROVEN direct injection technology in the E-TEC. If you want the very best technology money can buy, here it is – the 2015 Ski-Doo Renegade XRS"

They failed to mention the burn down problems on the 800 so no thank you spend 12 13 grand on the sled and then have to deal with that crap

Geez haha. Article was released yesterday wanted some others to see it. Thought if anyone ordered a XRS gade they would be even more happy after reading that. Would like to keep it positive. Attack that sled has a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty for the less than 1% chance of engine problems.

Thought that and UP connection some would like it. Sorry to waste ur time lenny.

no doubt Doo makes a fine trail sled, very innovative company. Incredible how well these sleds handle, probably the best in the biz and that's very well known,,along with a light weight feel, there just great products.

If you read these articles they always say the same stuff, pretty much every sled they review is the best in the world. I have stacks of magazines and it's kinda funny reading them. Nothing like a review from an actual member from here though especially when you can walk away with a good review that you can trust.

Sorry momoney, I went a bit overboard and will edit it to keep it positive and will stay out from here out.

I find it comical how some people want to keep things so-called positive when it's beneficial to them. It's not negative feedback here it's just people's opinions just like everyone gives on this site when and when it's not convenient to themselves or others. After all, that's what make sledding fun isn't it? Opinions and competition? And no this is not pointed out at momoney but you see this all the time and this is a classic example of that.

Ya i just didnt want to turn it into a bash fest. Wasnt the point of starting thread....comparisons to the new AXYS sure....but second post was already getting into that direction..

Ya magazines say alot of positives but until we get our hands on the 15s figured next best thing.

What I see with Snowtech is that every new model is reviewed as the greatest thing ever, but their long-term test issue gets more into what they like and don't like, after riding the sleds for a season. I do think they prefer Doo over the others, but most buyers do also, since they are 1/2 the market.

Yea I hear ya. Most poeple on DOO talk think this is most credible mag. I dont know but thats what they say. I mean saying it is the most dominating sled they ever ridden has to mean something. For comparison reasons what skids do the AXYS have this year?? You can buy the XRS in 120 or 137inch X 1.5 inch, what is the poo PRO-X or S's?

Doo has 50% of the market now? That's the first time I've ever heard that. Where did you get that info?

I got ripped to shreds on my Axys post too, nothing new here except no edits for me. I'm to the point where I hate to post my opinions anymore. It's sad really. :(

Don't stop posting opinions, because they are just that, opinions. And everyone has the right to their own opinion. I have a problem when someone insults ones intelligence for their opinion. We all have different tastes and riding styles and buy what fits us. Competition is fun, if we all had the same opinion, it would be boring!!!

I thought pretty good review. Noted what they felt was better and what they disliked. Short of test ride next best thing before someone plunks down $$ on a deposit.
Thanks for posting link.

Pro S - 120" and 137" with 1.25" track
Pro X - 120" and 137" with 1.75" track

I agree dont stop postn opinions. I guess I shouldnt say only positive feedback but didnt want to start a bashing war saying this POS that POS thats heavy yada yada....

So the XRS gade will be in direct comparison next winter with the PRO-X AXYS 137, interesting to see how they will match up

On the poll on doo talk this was the most spring orderd sled from doo, someone on here had to order one??? I personally ordered the X package gade 137 as I didnt want the sled to be super stiff like the race sleds and prevous XRS sleds. But according to snowtech review you can soften them all the way up like the adenaline or X package which would be amazing. Wonder if this is true or not.......

As Lenny said many of us get all the snomo mags & are used to the hype model report....not a bad thing in anyway & sometimes right on ....sometimes not so much.lol A lot of us on JD look for a member report or a comparo that they did by the seat of your/their pants. In these personal evaluations their is little to dispute since usually are realistic reports of good & bad model traits & more of a sharing experince & take it for what it is worth presentaion very much like your Doo/Yamaha comparo.

Sorry - 46% in North America (and growing), per ISMA. I'm not a Doo guy though, so I'm not trying to push anything.

I just looked on the ISMA website and it states that the ISMA does not have any market share data, where did you find it? I like mspease have not heard numbers anywhere near that high and the manufacturers do not disclose that information. The only thing they will say is who is leading.

I have the 2014 800 X Renegade and it is the best snowmobile I have ridden. If they made the sled better I could see that statement being true. The 4 year warranty would be the only reason to trade my sled in but if they are giving out a 4 year warranty they aren't worried about the engine. I am keeping mine and riding it another year. I like the white/red/black color.

13 more days to be tempted.

Yea thats a sweet sled. Friend of mine has same one. Thing that gets me is if you can soften the XRS shocks up like adrenaline and all the way stiff to typical XRS fashion that would be pretty sweet deal....especially since the adjusting can be done so quick and easy right in middle of trail. Also u running inch and 1/4 track? I was thinking of swapping mine for 1.5 inch when it comes in. Havent decided yet. Part of me wishes i went with the XRS gade instead of X
