2015 Viper Chain Tension

Hello! I am new to the forum and hope someone can help me out.

I have a 2015 Viper that will need it's first service soon. I know chain tension is one of the items checked.
The dealers I have talked to said the chain is hand tightened then backed off a quarter turn however, the 2015 manual says back off one and a half turns.

I'm really confused. I know the 2014 manual said quarter turn but the 2015 says one and a half turns.

Any thoughts?

My dealer and another I talked to had me change my 2014 setting to 1.5 turns after I did the .25 turn adjustment. The 2014 book was apparently a mistake as all previous Yamaha chains are at the quarter turn. Artic Cat wants the loose chain tension in their set up. My guess is your dealer is working off the Yamaha standard and may not have implemented the notice sent out late on the 2014 models.

Thank you! That's what I was thinking. I talked to the dealer and they keep telling me that I am wrong about the 1.5 turns and that the 2015 manual must be a misprint. I called a few others and they are saying only .25 turns. Any ideas on how to get through to them? My normal sunny disposition is not working this time
