2016 Polaris 800 (CFI) Detonation

My 2016 assault 800 (not new HO motor - 2500 miles) had some detonation issues end of last year. Probably half dozen times. It still has warranty through Jan 2018. Above 3/4 throttle it would kick down into the limp mode. Let off throttle it would reset itself. It wasn't shutting down all the way. I've gone through the sled replaced fuel filter, pulled the fuel pump and looked and the filter socks (clean), new plugs, cleaned exhaust valves, and drained and replaced fuel. Haven't had a chance to run it hard yet (no snow). Before taking it to dealer anything else to look for, its a 2hr trip each way. Ive heard possibly the knock sensor & that its torqued properly, tps sensor...

Always run 91 (when possible) I've had the DET happen on both ethanol and non ethanol selector settings

When you changed the fuel filter did you drain it and check for water. I had a similar issue and found water in the filter and some in the tank.

I didn't notice any water. Put 5 gal of fresh 91octane after I drained the tank and the. ran it up and down the smooth bean field on the 1/2" of snow we had. So far so good and no DET..
