We made the journey to GB for the draft. Busy but lots of fun. Not sure if I'd do it again but glad we did it this time. The crowd appreciated Clay Matthews opening statements "the Bears still suck" and Mark Murphy did a good job getting the crowd excited for the Packers first pick. I even had a chance meeting with Mark Murphy later Thursday night. The stage they erected was huge, it's really hard to get a perspective on how big it was. The city did a great job handling traffic and people considering they had an estimated 600K people attend over the 3 days.

Troy, glad you could make the trip. As a local, I watched the event from the comfort of my recliner and in hindsight, I should've gone. My Friday mornings start too early to be out late with 250,000 others. It sure looked like fun and I got a chuckle out of the "zero jersey" you posted. I too, met Mark Murphy a few years ago. I'm not one to approach people for autographs or pictures but I jumped at the chance for a picture of the two of us near the Lombardi statue. Murphy's a good man and has done a lot to keep the franchise successful.

Don't be a stranger. Wisconsin has a lot to offer those from Minnesota. Just ask anyone from Illinois!;)

Trust me, no stranger to WI. Grew up in Shell Lake WI, lived in the Hudson & Amery area until 2006 when we moved to the Duluth, MN for work. Will be back in WI this weekend again. Moving back to Shell Lake after retirement is one of the options on our list right now. Only 248 days to go!
We usually get to one Packer game and one Badger game each fall just so we can keep our Sconny cred:):)
And yes, you should've came over. It was crazy but it was fun to see.
