24 hours of lemons

Any one here ever attend one of these races or actually race in one?

I am going to do this. It looks like so much fun. Going to attend in Joliet, IL this April as a spectator to make sure it is some thing we want to do.
The following year we plan to race a car. Sure it will take all year to build it. (roll cage - fuel cell - other safety stuff)

Never attended but I read the summary in Car and Driver every year and it sounds like a blast!
