driver's needed for this event.Sleds are donated by Evert's in Hancock, be there by 8:30 am then ride to the Range Snowmobile Club in Atlantic Mine.The children should arrive by 9 am. The Houghton County Sherriff's Dept. will escort the driver's to a location there and back where a light lunch will be served.Please help out if you can,as drivers are really needed,if you prefer to bring you own sled that's fine as well or if you have a cutter that is great to.

Is this an annual event?
Is this an every year event?
My wife and I are from Indiana and plan a trip to the area every year. This is something we would like to participate in. We also have an enclosed sleigh that we could bring along and several childrens size helmets.
We have already made our trip for this year so wouldn't be able to participate this year.
Also, do you accept sponsors? We have friends that own a business in the area and we will see about some kind of help from them.

I will talk for Lori today. The ride went pretty well and all of the kids seemed to have had a blast. We were however short four drivers and sleds so we took out a group of 15 sleds and 2 cutters first and then took the next 4 kids out for their ride when we got back with the big group. I would like to give a big thank you to Everts Rental and Dans Polaris for the use of their two up sleds and helmets. I would also like to thank everyone that drove the kids made lunch for them at the club house and helped to organize this event. This is an anual event that happens every year usually in March. The Challenged Children look forward to this every year as do the drivers and the others that help out.

Thanks Joe for your answer, we really tried to get back from Minn. had to pick Dave and his sled up down there,after his out west trip,soooo glad to here it all went well. It's such a good time for all , this year the weather couldn't have been any nicer! aGAIN SORRY WE DIDN'T MAKE IT THIS YEAR.
