Hello,
I drove through 3 lakes at noon today and saw no fresh snow from there all the way to Watersmeet. I would not ride anywhere south of Watersmeet, too much snirt. Dropped at the casino and rode to Houghton. Good riding, snow picks up greatly 10 miles north of the casino on sled trail .

You could ride straight north out of Lando, but I do not recommend south; too snirty.

Yes, but you don't need to go that far. You can park and ride right from the gas station on the corner of Hy. 45 and Hy. 2. Trail runs right behind.

By fuel I assume you mean liquor...not actual gas?
The rooms are decent and pretty cheap, you get $5 free play per person on the one armed bandits and if you gas up, again bring them your receipt and get some free play as well. I paid $1.64 per gallon for unleaded when I filled the truck up coming home last Saturday! Premium $2.09. Thought I would never see those prices again. Get stickers at Headwaters and off you go, trails are in good shape.

no, as snirtdawg mentioned, they have a gas station right there and I think we got like $10.00 free fuel pp/pn stayed.
