Check out Allan Gofenko youtube channel(episode 6).
They have to heat the coolant in there sleds for 2 hours using a genertor they tote around, then use a hair drier to heat injectors before they will start. That is some dedication....

I didn't check out the you tube but I have ridden in northern MN at -40 and the sleds worked fine, other than the rope pulling hard and maybe taking a few more pulls to start the sleds should not give you any issues, 2 stroke that is, maybe the 4 strokes would be a little tougher but our vehicles work ok at that temp as long as you warm them up a bit so I think the 4 strokes would also

This guy has the new Yamaha Viper.
He is having a few issues in that weather: LCD Screen won't read out, the sled won't start without a jumper pack and it takes lots of cranking for it to go. He thinks it's the Artic Cat fuel mapping...no fix yet

This is impossible...it's a 4 stroke. They are the MOST reliable sleds out there.

Rode this year in northern Wisconsin at -29. Yeah that was cold but everything worked...but then again it was a 2 stroke ;-)
