600 Classic with M-10 Susp/ACE

Hey Guys,

I have a 2003 600 classic. Love the sled, bought it new in 2002. It has the M-10 with ACE, the push button suspension adjustment. I love that feature as well but have more trouble with it than not.

My problem is that constant ice build up on the main shock keeps it from moving when I try to dial it in.

I know it is not really possible to keep ice from building on this machine, especially with the configuration of the heat exchange/seat.

Anyone else out there have this issue and how have you dealt with it?

Thanks,

Joe

I installed a vinyl boot, but I get ice covering it as well. Helps a little, but not much.

I think it is just a weird design on this years classic that just makes ice like an ice maker due to the heat exchange design. The entire rear end of the sled freezes up in any kind of snow/weather conditions. Wondering if i can modify?

Ace

You can remove the ace and get a jack handle instead. You will have to stop but the adjustment is easy. The ace had issues.
