I just got this off Accuweather. Looks like good news for almost everyone in Northern Wisconsin and the UP. Pretty much falls in line with JD's forecast. Just trying to stay positive.:)

Hopefully mother nature slows her roll and dumps more to the west. Regardless, I got my areas picked out and am rollin' deep on Friday/Saturday.

I'm looking forward to Friday and Saturday, riding without jackets, and bombing the bush with four M8s. :D

looks like the Western UP is getting missed again :( they're calling for a BIG 1 inch, yeah, that will get the trails open and make the woods real fun!

mrsrunningbear Thats a bummer I like 2 spend St pats weekend in ur area it gets a little 2 crazy 4 me here in New Dublin.

It looks to me like most if not all the computer models missed not only the track but the amount of precipitation involved. It seems this happens a lot. When was the last time a storm produced more snow than was forecast? I'm sure it has happened, but not often. It's always the other way around. Maybe the guys who write the software they are using need to tweak it a little bit.
