700 lb MI Black Bear

A farmer was out clearing his cornfield in the UP in Chippewa County and hit this monster with his combine. The bear had dug a shallow pit, covered up and in hibrenation

Gas stop along hy. 8 in Tripoli WI has a full standing mount of a 737# black bear shot about 5 years ago.

Yup....Its been around for awhile & its funny that one story says it was in the Eastern UP & the other says Wisconsin?????.......& yeah that one in Tripoli is huge!!

There was a picture of a estimated 10 ft tall moose a year or two ago different reported areas . One story said eastern UP another said Maine and yet another Canada.
It might have been around on the web for a while too, it was shown to me by a guy at work since he new I was a yooper.

That doesn't even look like a real black bear. Photoshopped

Edit: apparently it's real? Also read it was shot in Dunn cty WI and left because of no tag. Combine hit it after it was already dead. Guy from ND or SD shot it and was caught.
