Is the fuel shut off valve open? If so, look for a pinched fuel line and a loose or cracked vacuum line that runs from fuel pump down the the crank case. My dads '06 mxz 600 was dry like that last fall. I pulled the vac line off at the pump and put vacuum on it with my mityvac vacuum pump and got gas so I knew the pump was good. Turns out the vac line was cracked down by the crank case. You could also put vacuum on the fuel line at the pump to ck for a blocked or pinched line. While you're at it, might as well put a new fuel filter on too, tho I don't think that's your problem if the plugs are "bone dry". Good luck.
