i have a 92 ski doo with 9,000 miles on it after tonight...knock on wood... with out any rebuild.... it doesnt get as high top end as it did last year... i talked to some buddies and they say just rebuild the clutch and clean the carbs what should i do

Is it still hitting the same rpm`s you did last year? With that many miles it could be any number of things so I would look at any little thing that could rob power off of the top end. Check for a worn belt, bearings on idler wheels, axles and all moving parts that might be seized up, clutch bushings or springs that are worn out and engine compression. That reminds me I found a couple of idler wheel bearings on mine that are seized that I need to replace!

well then your welcome lol for making you remember your idler wheels but i usually have to put a new belt on each year... i think im planning on it being the clutch
